This is a condensed version of the final project Hazel Nicholls completed for her Grade 12 Mathematics of Data Management course at Sir Robert Borden High School in Nepean, Ontario in April 2003. The paper was written as an example of how students might use data from Statistics Canada surveys to develop analysis on topics related to education. Ms. Nicholls is currently pursuing a Bachelor in Mathematics at Carleton University's School of Mathematics and Statistics.
